Rimmel Eye Make Up Remover

My daily eye make up consists of things that you couldn't budge with regular human activity. I choose products that have a really solid staying power because my eye make up always slides off my face otherwise. Therefore, I need one heck of a remover! Along came Rimmel Gentle Eye Make Up Remover.

When I began buying this years ago, it was the cheapest thing in the drugstore, about 2 bucks. Over the years the price has increased but it still remains an amazing beauty buy at $5-$7 for a generous 4.2oz bottle with easy to use flip top.

The look and feel of this is formula is like water, but with a few bubbles. I use this on a cotton round (or even on some toilet paper when I'm in a rush or out of cotton) It takes off all my waterproof eyeliner and my mascara with complete ease!  And with the water-like consistency, I can put this on a Q-tip for touch-ups or corrections without it leaving an oily residue or getting everywhere like a lotion.

If I'm wearing a truly heavy look that day, I will hold the cotton to my eye for a few seconds to let the remover dissolve the makeup so that I don't have to rub and tug at my eye.  I try to be as gentle as I can to my eye area because well, I'm not getting any younger, am I?

The remover is completely gentle to your eye. It has never left my contact wearing eyes irritated. It has no fragrance and no dyes and best of all, no oily residue or greasy feel!  In the past other removers have had bad reactions with my skin or have burned, this gentle formula does neither.

With the cheap price tag and super effective formula, this remover will remain a beauty staple for me until they take it off the shelves.  In which case, I will cry. And then how will I remove my smeared makeup?? No...I won't let myself think that way.
